The Plug and Play Tirana Expo 2026 will take place on October 7–8 at the Pyramid of Tirana. The event serves as the final stage of the second Plug and Play Tirana Accelerator Programme, connecting startups from Albania and the Western Balkans with international investors and corporate leaders.
Participants include representatives from Microsoft, Daimler Truck, IFC, KPMG, Intesa Sanpaolo, Elevator Ventures, Storm Ventures, Vitosha Venture Partners, Orbit Startups, Fil Rouge Capital, QGroup, and Ivoclar. Notable speakers include Jeff Burton of Electronic Arts and Fatos Ismali from Microsoft.
The two-day agenda features pitch sessions for the second accelerator cohort, panel discussions, and networking events. Key topics include AI-powered B2B SaaS, HealthTech, DeepTech, E-commerce, and mobility. Dedicated sessions will focus on investment strategies for startups scaling from the CEE region.
The initiative is supported by the Albanian-American Development Foundation, IN Groupe, Piramida Tirana, the Municipality of Tirana, and Innovation Hub. The event aims to integrate the regional startup ecosystem into global markets by facilitating direct access to capital and corporate partnerships.
