Peugeot unveiled the RCZ Vision concept at the Paris Motor Show, marking the return of the classic coupe as an all-electric vehicle. The model is built on the Stellantis STLA One platform and serves as a showcase for the brand's future design and technical direction. Peugeot has not yet announced any plans for mass production.
The concept car features a 1000V electrical architecture and solid-state batteries developed by Factorial Energy. The battery pack is 110mm thick, allowing for a low vehicle profile. According to Peugeot, the powertrain delivers 500 horsepower, with a maximum range of 600km. Charging from 10% to 80% takes 10 minutes, with a target energy consumption of 11.5kWh per 100km under the WLTP cycle.
The vehicle introduces the 'Lion Soul Future' design language, highlighted by horizontal three-claw lighting. It includes an active rear spoiler that retracts when parked and features 21-inch front and 22-inch rear forged wheels. Inside, the car is equipped with a rectangular Hypersquare steering wheel and a steer-by-wire system, which eliminates the mechanical connection between the wheel and the front tires.
