Hardware Unboxed and Toasty Bros conducted performance tests on the AMD Radeon RX 9050 4 GB graphics card. The model is currently available exclusively in OEM systems, such as the CyberPowerPC prebuilt units sold at Best Buy for $889.99.

In testing across 18 games at 1080p Low settings, the 4 GB card achieved an average of 78 FPS, while the 8 GB version reached 107 FPS. The 8 GB model demonstrated a 37% performance advantage. At the lowest settings, the 8 GB variant remained 32% faster.

Both versions of the card feature 1,024 stream processors and a boost clock speed of up to 2.6 GHz. The performance gap is attributed to memory specifications: the 4 GB model utilizes a 64-bit bus, 144 GB/s bandwidth, and 16 MB of Infinity Cache.

The 4 GB card is manufactured by partners including XFX, which produces a dual-fan design with a single 8-pin power connector. AMD stated the card is intended for entry-level gaming OEM systems and has no plans for a standalone retail release.
