Russian security systems manufacturer PERCo has launched the PERCo.Dostup application for Huawei smartwatches. The software allows users to utilize their wearable devices as digital access credentials for doors and turnstiles, replacing traditional plastic cards.

The application leverages the built-in NFC module of Huawei watches to emulate Mifare contactless cards. It is compatible with existing PERCo readers that support the Mifare standard, requiring no additional hardware installation for system administrators.

To enable the feature, administrators must add the digital identifier of the watch to the access control system database. Depending on the specific watch model, the identification process occurs either in the background or requires manual activation of the app.

The application is compatible with a wide range of Huawei devices, including the Watch GT 7 and GT 7 Pro released in September 2026. Background identification is supported on models such as Watch 5, Watch 4, Watch 4 Pro, and Watch Ultimate 2.

For other models, including the Watch GT series and Fit series, users must launch the app to transmit the NFC signal. The PERCo.Dostup application is available for free download through the Huawei AppGallery store.
