Panakès Partners has introduced a new investment vehicle, Panakès Fund – Fondo Parallelo Lombardia, with a capital of €8.5 million. The fund focuses on supporting startups and scaleups within the MedTech and BioTech sectors located in the Lombardy region of Italy.

The initiative operates under the Lombardia Venture STEP program, which is financed by European funds from the PR FESR Lombardy 2021-2027 and managed by Finlombarda. The new vehicle will co-invest alongside the firm's existing main funds, Panakès Fund and Purple Fund.

Panakès Partners, founded in 2015 by Fabrizio Landi, Alessio Beverina, and Diana Saraceni, is based in Milan. The firm currently manages approximately €300 million in assets, targeting companies developing technologies in life sciences, DeepTech, and biotechnology.

This launch follows other regional venture capital efforts in Italy. In September 2026, Eureka! Venture launched a €20 million DeepTech fund, while NVM Ventures announced a €23.6 million first close in October. Public commitments for these two initiatives total €34.83 million.
