Oura has indefinitely postponed its initial public offering, which was expected to raise up to $2.2 billion. The company cited market uncertainty as the primary reason for this decision. The IPO filing initially proposed the sale of 55 million shares at a price range between $40 and $44, which would have valued the business at up to $15 billion.

The company reports strong growth, with its user base of paying members reaching 5.7 million, an increase from 5 million at the end of June. Oura anticipates a 90% revenue growth for the 2026 financial year compared to the previous year, when revenue reached $907.9 million. The latest product, Oura Ring 5, has also seen positive market reception.

The delay impacts specific financial plans for both the company and its shareholders. Forerunner Ventures intended to sell its entire 9.3% stake, which would have generated approximately $1.2 billion at the midpoint price of $42 per share. Oura planned to utilize a significant portion of the IPO proceeds to cover tax obligations related to employee share grants.
