OPPO has officially unveiled the Watch S2 and Watch X3 smartwatches during its latest product launch event. The devices feature an 8.9mm slim profile and introduce the new FatMax fat-burning mode, which utilizes proprietary algorithms to create personalized fitness models based on individual heart rate and physical data.
The hardware includes upgraded health sensors, specifically an ECG electrode, an 8-channel heart rate sensor, a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, and a high-sensitivity temperature sensor. The watches run on the new ColorOS 17 operating system, which supports features like a camera assistant, fluid cloud notifications, and the ability to connect to two smartphones simultaneously.
The Watch S2 is available in three colors: orange, pink, and gray, featuring a bamboo-style sports strap that improves fit by 15% and reduces thickness by 19%. The Watch X3 model comes in a titanium silver finish with orange accents and a white bamboo-style strap, utilizing a full titanium casing.
Pricing for the Watch S2 starts at a suggested retail price of ¥1 599, with an initial sale price of ¥1 499 and a subsidized price of ¥1 274.15. The Watch X3 is priced at a suggested retail price of ¥2 799, with an initial sale price of ¥2 599 and a subsidized price of ¥2 209.15. Both models go on sale on September 24.
