Opera has released a major update for its Opera Air browser, which was originally launched in 2025. The redesign focuses on a minimalist interface, updated wallpapers, and new audio features to minimize user distraction and promote digital well-being.
The new interface features a cleaner look with fewer visual elements and nature-inspired wallpapers. The browser maintains essential tools like a built-in ad blocker, a free VPN, and a sidebar for quick access to messaging and social media apps.
A key addition is the integration of five original soundscapes, including the Hyperfocus track designed to aid concentration. Users can select from various audio categories, such as nature sounds, directly within the browser.
The browser continues to offer health-focused tools, including customizable break reminders and guided breathing exercises. These features are intended to assist users who spend long periods working at their computers.
Opera Air remains a free product available for download from the official Opera website. Users can import existing data, such as bookmarks and passwords, from other browsers to facilitate the transition.
