Opel has unveiled the STX Concept, an electric station wagon prototype designed to showcase the brand's future design language and electric vehicle architecture. The vehicle is scheduled to make its public debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show.
The concept features an evolved Vizor front end with prominent vertical lighting slats and an illuminated logo. Its aerodynamic profile includes a steeply dropping roofline, camera-based side mirrors, and wide wheel arches housing 22-inch wheels with Goodyear tires.
The STX Concept incorporates an active aerodynamic system with movable rear elements and diffusers that adjust based on driving conditions to improve stability and drag. The vehicle is equipped with an all-wheel-drive electric powertrain capable of reaching speeds exceeding 124 miles per hour.
The interior continues the brand's 'Painting with Light' design theme, utilizing immersive lighting and lightweight seating. Opel intends to integrate several of these design and technical features into future production models, though commercial availability is not expected before 2028.
