Nio sub-brand Onvo has introduced a new design package for its L90 electric SUV, dubbed Starry Gold. The package features a two-tone exterior with a Starry Blue body and a Dawn Gold upper section, complemented by titanium-gold trim. The interior is finished in a Mist Gray theme with warm lighting.
The package is currently available at a promotional price of ¥6 000, which is 40% lower than its standard list price of ¥10 000. Onvo confirmed that display vehicles equipped with the new design are already present in retail stores. The update is limited to aesthetic changes, with no modifications to the powertrain or battery.
The L90 model, which offers 6-seat and 7-seat configurations, currently starts at ¥265 800 for the full purchase or ¥179 800 under the BaaS battery rental program. The vehicle features the Nio World Model driver-assistance system and optional LiDAR hardware.
Onvo reported 2 209 deliveries for the L90 in August 2026, representing an 11.9% increase over July but a 79.11% decline compared to the previous year. Total deliveries for the first eight months of 2026 reached 19 945 units. The brand is currently utilizing design updates across its lineup to maintain market interest.
