The Russian IT service provider Onlanta has successfully tested the PAM Infrascope system to secure remote access for employees connecting to terminal servers, specifically RDS farms. The solution was deployed within Onlanta's public cloud environment to meet specific privileged access management requirements.

NGR Softlab, the developer of Infrascope, implemented connectivity to RDS farms via standard RDP scenarios. Onlanta specialists verified several key functionalities, including SSH privileged connections, direct access to RDS farms, audit capabilities, OCR features, and SFTP operations.

The system routes requests through the RDS Connection Broker to identify the appropriate RD Session Host. This architecture allows privileged users to maintain their standard RDP workflow while ensuring all sessions are managed through a centralized PAM system, enabling unified security policies and session logging.

During the testing phase, the team also evaluated browser isolation capabilities for web resource access control. According to NGR Softlab, the solution allows companies to centralize access management across multiple RDS farms without requiring unique configurations for each setup.
