OnePlus has unveiled its new Magnetic Cooling Mini, a compact smartphone cooler designed for portability. The device features a form factor smaller than a standard bank card and weighs approximately 50 grams, allowing for easy attachment to mobile devices.
The cooler utilizes a TEC cooling element combined with an air-cooling system to target the phone's primary heat source. This setup helps maintain frame rates during high-load gaming sessions. The device is compatible with various Android and Apple smartphones, with a magnetic sticker included in the package.
Power is supplied directly from the smartphone, eliminating the need for external cables. When powered by a 10 000 mAh power bank, the cooler can operate for up to 8 hours on its high setting. The device also supports the high-performance ColorOS X mode on OnePlus and OPPO handsets.
The cooling unit operates quietly, with noise levels remaining below 25 dB on the low setting and reaching a maximum of 35 dB on the high setting. The product is currently available for purchase at a launch price of ¥199, with a bundle option offered at ¥169.
