OnePlus has unveiled technical details for its upcoming Ace 7 series, focusing on battery performance and design. All models in the lineup will feature a 9000 mAh Glacier battery, supporting 100 W fast charging. The company claims these devices can sustain continuous video playback for up to 24 hours.
The new Glacier Battery Energy Concentration chip is integrated to manage power efficiency and maintain performance levels even when the battery is low. OnePlus states that this technology is designed to slow down battery degradation, ensuring the component retains its capacity for up to five years of regular use.
The smartphones introduce a bypass charging feature, allowing the device to draw power directly from the charger during gaming sessions. This mechanism is intended to reduce thermal output and minimize stress on the battery. The devices will also feature a metal frame, matte glass back panels, and the Interstellar Light Effect lighting system.
The flagship OnePlus Ace 7 Pro model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. To manage heat, the device includes a new dual-channel Glacier cooling system featuring an active fan. The official launch for both the OnePlus Ace 7 and the Ace 7 Pro is scheduled for October 29.
