The device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 chip and a high-resolution 200MP 1/1.4" main camera. The camera system will be supplemented by a 50MP 3X periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.95" sensor and a new 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
For gaming performance, the OnePlus 16 is slated to include 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate gaming and a hardware-level 165Hz global high refresh rate. The device will also integrate the OPPO energy-gathering chip to support low-voltage discharge, preventing capacity lock issues.
OnePlus China President Li Jie confirmed that three exclusive gaming technologies will be upgraded and debuted on the OnePlus 16. These updates include the 165Hz high refresh rate, the Wind-speed gaming kernel, and the e-sports triple-chip architecture.
