Ondo Finance and BlackRock are collaborating to launch seven tokenized model portfolios on September 24, 2026. These portfolios will include traditional assets such as stocks, bonds, and Bitcoin ETFs, managed entirely on-chain.
Investors will receive tokens representing their positions in these baskets, which can be traded around the clock or used as collateral. The service will be available exclusively to non-US investors due to regulatory requirements.
BlackRock reported $9,8 trillion in assets under management within its model portfolio business as of June 2026. This initiative follows a pilot program in July 2026, where Ondo tokenized shares of the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF and Micron Technology.
To support the rollout, Ondo integrated with the crypto exchange LBank between late August and early September 2026. This expansion introduced thematic baskets focused on sectors like artificial intelligence and technology.
