Japanese retailer Sofmap has released its graphics card sales ranking for the first half of September 2026, covering the period from September 1 to September 15. The data reveals a surprising market trend, with older hardware models securing top positions over newer releases.
The Gigabyte RTX 3050 WINDFORCE OC V2 6G claimed the top spot. This dual-fan card measures 191mm in length, supports PCIe 4.0, and has a power consumption of 300W. It is marketed as a solution for compact PC builds.
The second place went to the MSI GeForce GT 1030 2GD4 LP OC, a low-end card originally released in April 2018. This model features 2GB of DDR4 memory and a low-profile design, making it suitable for small form factor systems.
Gigabyte's RX 9070 XT GAMING OC took third place. This gaming-oriented card is equipped with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, utilizes WINDFORCE cooling technology, and operates with a power consumption of 850W.
The fourth and fifth positions in the ranking were occupied by the Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti AERO OC 16G and the Asus Prime GeForce RTX 5060 Ti OC, respectively.
