Octopus Energy has introduced FleetBoost, a subscription-based service for commercial electric vehicle fleets. The platform provides discounted rates across several public charging networks, aiming to cut annual charging expenses by up to 30 percent for businesses.
The company estimates potential savings of up to £730 per vehicle annually. This calculation assumes an annual mileage of 15,000 miles at an efficiency of 0.3 kWh per mile, factoring in the monthly subscription cost of the new service.
At launch, the scheme includes charging networks from MFG EV Power, Ionity, and BE.EV. Octopus reports that 99 percent of UK areas covered by the service are within 14 miles of an eligible charger, with 95 percent within nine miles.
FleetBoost expands the existing Octopus Fleet platform, which debuted in February to assist businesses in transitioning to electric vehicles. The service integrates public and home charging solutions, including automated reimbursement tools for employees.
The company previously launched a Visa-backed Business Payments Card in August 2025 for fleet expenses. Additionally, in November 2025, Octopus integrated the Monta Hub into its Electroverse network to provide fleet managers with centralized data and payment tools.
