Oconnor, a domestic manufacturer of SLT system-level testing equipment, is partnering with Hygon Information to develop a localized testing platform for memory and storage chips. The project utilizes Hygon Information CPUs as the core processing unit for the new system.
Oconnor is also collaborating with leading domestic storage chip manufacturers to integrate DRAM chip testing technology. The platform combines these technical inputs with Oconnor's self-developed testing hardware to create a comprehensive, localized solution.
The project is currently in the final joint debugging phase. The companies expect the product to reach maturity and be opened for external use by the end of October, with an official product launch scheduled for the end of the year.
Founded in 2005, Oconnor specializes in reliability testing for HDD and SSD storage devices. The company provides testing systems and services to memory manufacturers and major internet enterprises. Hygon Information, established in 2014, focuses on high-end processors and accelerators compatible with the x86 instruction set.
