Nvidia is reportedly ending production of the GB202 graphics processor specifically for the GeForce RTX 5090 model. According to industry insider MEGAsizeGPU, the company plans to redirect these chips exclusively to its professional RTX Pro line, effectively halting the consumer-grade RTX 5090.

The manufacturer is also considering a potential refresh of the GeForce RTX 5080. Rumors suggest this new version could feature 24 GB of video memory, an increase from the 16 GB of GDDR7 memory found in the current model, with speculation that it may be branded as the RTX 5080 Super.

Reports indicate that the production of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti might also be coming to an end. It remains unclear whether this signifies a complete discontinuation of the card or a strategic reduction in supply and reallocation of manufacturing resources by Nvidia.
