Microsoft announced that laptops based on the Nvidia RTX Spark platform will support hundreds of PC titles, including AAA and indie games, at launch. Confirmed titles currently running on the platform include Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Minecraft, Alan Wake II, Valorant, and World of Warcraft.
During a demonstration, the title Gears of War: E-Day achieved 60 frames per second on a Surface Laptop Ultra using Ultra graphics settings. However, Microsoft did not disclose specific resolution details or whether frame generation and image upscaling technologies were utilized during the test.
The company confirmed that support for the Call of Duty franchise will not be available at launch, with integration expected to arrive in 2027. Microsoft provided no specific reasons for the delay regarding this particular series.
The RTX Spark platform features an Arm-based CPU with 18 or 20 cores and Nvidia Blackwell graphics, offering configurations of 5120 or 6144 CUDA cores. The hardware supports up to 128 GB of unified memory and runs on the Windows 11 for Arm operating system.
