Nvidia has launched pre-orders for laptops equipped with its new RTX Spark SoC. The chip series includes two configurations: a high-end version with a 20-core Grace CPU and 6144-core Blackwell GPU, and a lower-end variant featuring an 18-core Grace CPU and 5120-core Blackwell GPU.
Available memory options for the RTX Spark platform range from 24GB to 128GB of unified memory. Configurations with 48GB of RAM or more utilize the full-spec chip, while models with 24GB or 32GB of memory typically feature the lower-end processor configuration.
Retailers like Best Buy have opened pre-orders for several models, including the Asus ProArt P14 and P16, HP OmniBook X 14 and Ultra 16, and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra. Shipping for these devices is scheduled to begin on October 16.
Pricing varies significantly based on specifications. The Asus ProArt P14 starts at $2,599, while the ProArt P16 with 128GB of memory and 2TB of storage is priced at $6,999.99. HP models like the OmniBook X and Ultra are listed at $5,109 and $5,309 respectively.
While Dell and Lenovo have announced RTX Spark-based devices, including the Dell XPS 16 and Lenovo Yoga 9n, these models are not yet available for direct pre-order. Currently, high-capacity memory configurations are primarily restricted to direct sales from manufacturers.
