Developer SupraGSX has released a modified ForceWare 382.69 driver that enables support for Nvidia Pascal GPUs on 32-bit Windows XP systems. The project integrates elements from the 368.81 driver, firmware from Quadro 376.84, and Video Protected Region support from the GeForce 378.78 driver for Windows 7.
The driver provides compatibility for most Pascal-based cards, with the exception of the GT 1030. An experimental build for the 1050 Ti is also available. The developer continues to release updates and monitors feedback through the Vogons forums, where users have reported successful operation with ultrawide monitors at high refresh rates.
The modification introduces support for DisplayPort HBR2 and HBR3, as well as HDMI 2.0 identification. It also includes improvements for HDMI and DVI handling, along with updated scaling and aspect ratio settings within the Nvidia Control Panel. The installer package is available for download via the project repository.
While a fork for Windows XP 64-bit previously existed, it has been removed from the repository, though binaries remain available on third-party hosting services. As these are unofficial drivers, the developer advises caution regarding data safety when installing the software on retro systems.
