Nvidia has officially raised the price of the Shield TV Pro to $299.99. The company confirmed that the new pricing, which took effect on October 2, is a direct result of rising component costs, specifically citing memory prices that have increased across the industry.
The Shield TV Pro, which features the Tegra X1+ processor, originally launched in 2019 at a price of $199.99. A non-Pro version was previously available for $149.99 but has since been discontinued by the manufacturer.
Nvidia continues to actively manufacture the Shield TV Pro units. The company noted that it sells every device it produces, though the product has faced supply chain constraints similar to those affecting modern smartphones and computers.
While the device is currently out of stock on Nvidia's official store, it is available for purchase at the updated price through the retailer Best Buy.
