In the first half of fiscal 2027, ending July 26, 2026, Nvidia recorded $15.6 billion in customer advances, compared to $7.5 billion in the same period a year prior. Of this amount, $13.0 billion was recognized as revenue. The company's supply and commitment backlog reached $279 billion, up from $119 billion in the previous quarter, with fulfillment expected through fiscal 2029.

Accounts receivable rose to $63.1 billion, with the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metric increasing from 45 to approximately 60 days. Nvidia now offers extended payment terms ranging from 90 days to one year for investment-grade clients purchasing large-scale data center equipment.

Customer concentration remains high, as five direct buyers account for 70% of total receivables, and a single client generated 16% of second-quarter revenue. Additionally, in August 2026, Nvidia committed to guarantee up to $105 billion in lease and power obligations for a data center project in Ohio linked to an OpenAI affiliate.
