DLSS 5 is supported by GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs. The company has confirmed plans to bring official support for the technology to GeForce RTX 40-series cards in the future.
The implementation in NBA2K27, developed by Visual Concepts, uses 3D-Guided Neural Rendering. This technology modifies lighting and object appearance based on engine data such as geometry, textures, and motion, specifically improving skin subsurface scattering, hair lighting, and contact shadows without altering the original geometry.
