Nubia has unveiled the design of its NaviX Ultra smartphone, featuring a blue back panel, silver frame, and a distinct orange physical button, which is expected to function as an AI trigger. The device is a collaborative effort between ZTE and ByteDance, marketed as the second-generation Doubao phone.
The smartphone integrates the Doubao mobile assistant. According to reports, the device will not utilize GUI technology to simulate user clicks or read screen content, marking a shift in how it interacts with third-party applications from companies like Alibaba and Tencent.
Technical specifications include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 processor and a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W or 100W wired charging and wireless charging. The camera system features a 50-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, a periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel front camera.
A key hardware feature is the inclusion of CXMT's LPDDR5X memory, which operates at a speed of 10667Mbps. This marks the first mass-market application of this high-speed domestic DRAM chip. The project involves several partners, including Qualcomm, BOE, Samsung Semiconductor, and Goodix.
