Nubia NaviX Ultra is a joint development between ZTE and ByteDance. The device will feature the Doubao mobile assistant, which is described as the second generation of the Doubao phone. The manufacturer has adjusted its cooperation with super-apps like Alibaba and Tencent, meaning the device will not read the screen or simulate human-like clicks to operate applications via GUI technology.
The smartphone will likely be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 flagship processor and a 7000mAh silicon-carbon negative electrode battery. It supports 90W or 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging capabilities.
The device will feature a 5000 MP single main camera, an ultra-wide angle lens, and a periscope telephoto lens. The front-facing camera will also have a 5000 MP resolution. The hardware partners for the launch include Qualcomm Snapdragon, BOE, CXMT, Samsung Semiconductor, and Goodix Technology.
Nubia and CXMT announced that the NaviX Ultra will use LPDDR5X memory with a speed of 10667Mbps. This marks the first mass-production application of a domestic Chinese LPDDR5X chip with this speed, signaling the entry of domestic mobile DRAM into the top-tier commercial speed phase.
