Nscale, a London-based AI infrastructure firm, has appointed Justin Osofsky as its new Chief Operating Officer. Osofsky, who previously spent 18 years at Meta Platforms, most recently serving as chief partnerships officer, will report to CEO Josh Payne. His primary focus will be managing global operations and guiding the company through its upcoming US initial public offering.

The appointment, effective October 2, 2026, follows the company's S-1 filing on September 18, 2026. Nscale intends to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker NSCL. This marks the second COO appointment for the company this year, following the hiring of Lauren Hurwitz in January 2026.

The company reported revenue of $140.6 million for the first half of 2026, representing a 1,252% increase year-over-year. Nscale is targeting a valuation of approximately $30 billion for its IPO, which would double its $14.6 billion valuation from the Series C round in March 2026.

Nscale specializes in data centers and GPU cloud services for AI workloads. The firm maintains strategic partnerships with Microsoft and Nvidia. Additionally, it has secured a contract with Anthropic valued at up to $45 billion, a figure that remains a key metric for future revenue recognition.
