NPP EKRA and AMT-Group have completed testing of a joint solution integrating the InfoDiode unidirectional data transfer system with the EKRASCADA software suite. This architecture is designed to provide dispatch and situational centers located outside the trusted segment with real-time technological data from energy facilities.
The integration involves placing the InfoDiode complex between two instances of EKRASCADA. One instance acts as an aggregator for the IEC 60870-5-104 industrial protocol within the secure segment, while the other serves as a mirror copy of the energy facility in the external segment.
This configuration prevents direct TCP/IP connections between network segments with different security levels. By eliminating the possibility of reverse impact from the corporate segment on the closed circuit, the solution ensures secure data transit while maintaining the integrity of the energy facility's control systems.
