The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro features a new three-driver architecture, which allows for advanced sound customization through the Nothing X app. Users can independently adjust the main drivers and a third precision unit. The audio tuning was developed in collaboration with Metropolis Studios, and the device includes a physical switch to activate a flat equalizer mode.
The headphones offer active noise cancellation up to 46 dB, an improvement over the 42 dB found in the previous model. This performance is achieved through a ten-microphone system and improved acoustic sealing of the ear cups. The device supports USB-C wired lossless audio and high-resolution wireless playback, while retaining physical controls like toggles and wheels.
The updated design includes a weight reduction to 327 grams, wider headbands, and thicker padding. The construction now incorporates glass elements instead of some plastic parts used in the previous version. The headphones also feature spatial audio presets and optional head tracking to simulate different listening environments.
Available starting September 29, the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is priced at $399. The product is sold through the official Nothing website, Amazon, and Best Buy. It serves as the successor to the original Headphone (1) model released last year.
