Norway's producer price index (PPI), which includes oil, reached 30.1% year-over-year in August. This is a significant increase compared to the 23.4% recorded in the previous month.
The index also showed a monthly increase of 4.7%. The growth is primarily driven by the oil and gas extraction sectors, as well as the broader goods sector, reflecting rising production costs.
Market participants are now analyzing how these developments might affect crude oil prices. Some suggest that the current trend in Norway could support scenarios involving further price increases for oil.
