The Pakistani company Nora EV, founded in 2025, has unveiled the Metro electric minivan. The vehicle features a design inspired by the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire, including a large grille and chrome-finished vertical elements. However, the Metro is significantly smaller, measuring 3900 mm in length, and uses standard hinged doors instead of sliding ones.

The Metro is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor with an output of 4 kW, or approximately 5 hp. The vehicle is built on a Chinese-sourced platform adapted for South Asian road conditions. It is equipped with 14-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, power windows, a push-button start system, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity.

Customers can choose from lithium iron phosphate batteries with capacities of 9, 15, or 23.1 kWh. The largest battery option provides a range of 250–300 km. For extended travel, the company offers a version with a gasoline range extender featuring a 3-liter fuel tank, which adds 150–180 km of range.

Nora EV plans to establish a network of battery-swapping stations across Pakistan. The company also intends to localize the production of various components, such as body parts and lighting systems, within the country.
