Over 340,000 students in the Nizhny Novgorod region have received free access to the R7-Office software suite for home use. This initiative follows an agreement signed in 2026 between the software developer R7 and the regional government, providing pupils from grades 1 to 11 with full access to document, spreadsheet, and presentation editors.
To obtain the software, students can access the regional electronic school diary portal, which provides download links and license keys. The suite is compatible with both domestic and foreign operating systems. According to the developer, the access to these licenses will remain open indefinitely, and the company intends to scale this program to other regions across Russia.
