Nissan has unveiled the 2027 Rogue, known globally as the X-Trail, for the North American market. The vehicle features an e-Power hybrid system, which utilizes a 1.5-liter gasoline engine as a generator to power two electric motors. This configuration delivers a total output of 228 horsepower and includes an all-wheel-drive system.
The hybrid powertrain integrates a 1.67 kWh lithium-ion battery. Drivers can utilize the e-Pedal system for single-pedal acceleration and deceleration. Nissan plans to launch the hybrid model later in the fall of 2026, with production based in Japan. Prices in the United States will range from $35 490 to $43 490.
The interior retains physical climate control buttons and includes features such as heated and ventilated Zero Gravity seats, wireless smartphone charging, and a Bose audio system with ten speakers in higher-end trims. The ProPilot ADAS suite has been updated, though specific details regarding the new capabilities remain undisclosed.
For customers preferring traditional combustion engines, Nissan will introduce gasoline-only versions of the 2027 Rogue in early 2027.
