Nissan is returning to the A-segment in Europe with the Pixo EV, a compact electric car designed to compete with models like the BYD Dolphin Surf and Leapmotor T03. The vehicle is positioned below the Micra in the company's European lineup and will be produced at the Renault Group plant in Novo Mesto, Slovakia.
The car is expected to be based on the AmpR Small platform, featuring a 27.5 kWh LFP battery and a single 60 kW (82 hp) electric motor. This configuration is projected to provide a WLTP range of up to 263 km (163 miles).
The official debut of the Pixo EV is scheduled for September 23. The model is set to launch in the first half of 2027, with expected starting prices under €20 000 ($23 200), before any subsidies or incentives.
