Onvo, a sub-brand of Nio Inc, will introduce the Starry Gold design package for its L90 electric SUV on September 23. The update features a Starry Blue body color with Dawn Gold accents and titanium-gold trim, alongside a new Mist Gray interior package. Display vehicles will be available at showrooms on the launch date.
The company did not announce pricing for these new packages. This release follows a broader strategy by Nio to refresh existing models with design updates to maintain market interest without altering core vehicle specifications, powertrains, or smart driving hardware.
The L90 model is currently priced between ¥265 800 and ¥299 800, or ¥179 800 to ¥213 800 under the battery-as-a-service program. In August, the company delivered 2 209 units of the L90, marking a 79.11 percent decline compared to the same period in 2025.
Cumulative deliveries for the L90 reached 63 330 units as of the end of August 2026. The model, which launched in April 2026, features the Shenji NX9031 smart driving chip and Nio World Model software. Nio plans to expand the Onvo brand into international markets, with a European debut targeted for 2028-2029.
