The Genesis of Satoshi Nakamoto, a 2.4-meter multi-dimensional cube, was unveiled on October 29 at Polo Dot in Buenos Aires. The installation was part of the Open Fest of LABITCONF 2026.
The monument was commissioned by Bitcoin.ar as part of the fifth Premio B.Arte competition. It was designed by artists Ricardo Alonso and Celeste Difabio Videla, with project coordination by Aida Pippo.
Constructed from stainless steel and glass, the cube features five faces that illustrate Bitcoin concepts, including the halving mechanism, the white paper, and the genesis block.
The project was financed by the Fundacion Bitcoin Iberoamerica. It is intended to serve as a permanent educational resource for the public to learn about the history and principles of Bitcoin.
