The Neurable One headphones feature 12 sensors embedded in the ear pads to record electroencephalogram (EEG) data. These sensors operate at 125 Hz with 16-bit resolution, supported by over 80 patents. The device tracks eight metrics, including concentration, cognitive load, and alpha-wave peaks, comparing them against the user's personal baseline.

Data is processed via a smartphone app, which identifies fatigue and loss of focus. The system filters out noise from movement or music playback. Users can monitor their state in real-time or perform one-minute express checks. The company states that the technology cannot read thoughts and does not sell user brain data to third parties.

Hardware specifications include 40mm beryllium drivers, active noise cancellation, and six microphones. The device supports Bluetooth 5.2, AAC, and aptX. Battery life is rated at 22 hours for audio playback, dropping to 12 hours when EEG sensors are active. A 15-minute USB-C charge provides two hours of playback.

The initial batch of 700 units is priced at $499 each for the US market. New orders currently face a lead time of 4 to 8 weeks. The product comes with a one-year warranty and a companion app available for both Android and iOS platforms.
