The Neurable One headphones feature a 12-channel EEG monitoring system integrated into the earcups. These electrodes are designed to track various mental states, including focus, cognitive load, cognitive speed, calmness, wakefulness, and EEG frequency bands.

Data collected by the device is processed via the Neurable cloud platform. Users can store their metrics for up to 18 months or request deletion at any time. Additionally, the company allows users to export raw EEG data in CSV format for personal analysis or AI project development.

Despite the monitoring capabilities, the manufacturer clarifies that Neurable One is not a medical device. It is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, or monitoring of health conditions, serving primarily as a tool for personal exploration of brain states.

Beyond its monitoring functions, the device serves as a standard wireless noise-canceling headset. It supports simultaneous connection to two devices and offers a battery life of up to 22 hours in standard mode, or 12 hours when EEG monitoring is active.
