NetEase Cloud Music has officially released its dedicated application for the HarmonyOS platform. The release includes a new Immersive Light player, developed in collaboration with Huawei, which combines the classic vinyl design of NetEase with the HarmonyOS Star Ring visual elements.

The new player features ambient lighting effects and fluid particle animations. Users can access this style by searching for the term Immersive Light within the application. While the feature is typically reserved for premium members, the company is offering free access to all users until October 31, 2026.

The HarmonyOS version of the app was developed through a partnership between NetEase and Huawei, with an initial beta version launched in late August. Over the past three weeks, the development team released eight updates, introducing more than 1,000 new features and improvements.

Recent updates to the platform include support for local music imports, customizable player styles, enhanced sound quality settings, and a dark mode. Additionally, the developers have fully integrated community features such as music reviews, playlists, and user notes to ensure parity with other versions.
