NetEase Cloud Music has officially launched its dedicated HarmonyOS application, ensuring full compatibility across smartphones, foldable devices, and tablets. Users can now download the app directly from the Huawei AppGallery to enjoy a seamless listening experience across various hardware platforms.
The development process involved a close partnership between NetEase and Huawei. Following the release of an early beta version in late August, the companies pushed eight updates over three weeks, introducing over 1,000 new features based on user feedback.
Key additions include local music file importing, customizable player styles, enhanced audio quality settings, and a dark mode. The app also features a specialized 'immersive light' player design, which integrates HarmonyOS star-ring aesthetics with the classic NetEase vinyl interface.
