Nanosoft and Sprut-Technology have entered into a partnership to integrate their flagship software solutions. The collaboration focuses on linking the CAD system nanoCAD Mechanica Pro with the SprutCAM CAM system to create a unified domestic ecosystem for product lifecycle management.

The integration aims to streamline the transition from design to manufacturing. By enabling direct geometry transfer, the solution eliminates the need for intermediate file formats like STEP or IGES, which reduces the risk of model distortion and accelerates the production launch process.

A key feature of the joint development is full data associativity. When a 3D model is modified in nanoCAD Mechanica Pro, the machining paths and control programs in SprutCAM update automatically. This functionality removes the need to reconfigure processing parameters from scratch.

The partnership also enables parallel engineering workflows. Technologists can begin developing control programs for CNC machines and robots before the final approval of design documentation. This approach shifts production preparation from a sequential process to a parallel one.
