Namespace, a developer infrastructure provider, has raised €37 million in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by Scale Venture Partners, with additional support from 20VC, NEA, Essence, Burst Capital, and angel investors, including Datadog CEO Olivier Pomel. This latest round brings the company's total funding to €58 million, or $65 million.
Founded in 2022 by former Google principal engineer Hugo Santos, the company provides coding, build, and test environments for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Namespace designs and deploys its own server racks globally to support its infrastructure. The platform currently serves over 1000 organizations, including companies such as SpaceXAI, Ramp, Framer, ElevenLabs, Vanta, Bilt, and Sierra.
The startup reported an 8x increase in total revenue over the past 12 months. Namespace plans to use the new capital to expand its data center locations, specifically increasing its fleet of Mac hardware to support developers building iOS and macOS applications. Additionally, the company intends to open new offices in San Francisco and New York City.
The funding round follows a period of significant investment in the European developer tooling sector. In 2026, other companies in the space have secured substantial capital, including Cloudsmith with €61.5 million, Undo with €31 million, Kestra with €21 million, and Avrea with €4 million. Swiss firms Rapidata and AI Infrastructure Capital AG also recently raised funds.
