The MX Linux 25.3 Infinity release is now available, built upon the Debian 13.7 base. The distribution offers versions with Xfce, KDE Plasma, and Fluxbox desktop environments, all running on the Linux 6.12 kernel. A specialized Xfce AHS edition is also provided for newer hardware, featuring the Liquorix Linux 7.2 kernel and Mesa 26.1 graphics stack.

The update introduces the Verify ISO Sig tool, designed to check digital signatures for both MX Linux and other major Linux distributions. Additionally, the new MX-Theme-Colors utility allows users to create custom GTK highlight variants. The developer team has also redesigned the interfaces for the MX Welcome and MX Tools applications.

The installation process has been updated, as the MX/Gazelle installer now enables the lazytime mount option in etc/fstab by default. This change aims to reduce unnecessary disk writes by limiting timestamp updates. Existing users can receive these system improvements through standard update channels without needing a fresh installation.
