Multifactor has updated its Multistatus cloud monitoring service, introducing an incident management system that aggregates alerts and automates diagnostics. The company claims this approach reduces initial diagnostic time by up to 70%.

The update includes smart incident grouping, allowing users to define custom logic for alerts based on resource availability. A new hysteresis setting helps prevent false positives by requiring multiple consecutive failures before triggering a notification.

The service now features expanded HTTP monitoring, which checks page content and API responses against specific text or regular expressions. This ensures that critical user functions remain operational even if the resource is technically accessible.

A new Network Security section allows monitoring of external infrastructure, including IP ranges and port configurations. The system alerts users to any deviations from the established network profile, such as newly opened or closed ports.

Future updates will introduce a domain scanner for identifying subdomains and a ProtocolScan tool for analyzing TLS versions, encryption algorithms, and certificate validity to enhance security oversight.
