MTS has installed a new base station in the village of Mstikhino, located 10 kilometers from Kaluga. This deployment provides mobile internet speeds of up to 185 Mbps across the entire settlement, eliminating previous coverage gaps in the southern part of the village.
Previously, only half of the village had access to high-speed mobile internet. The new infrastructure now covers the entire residential area and a segment of the M3 federal highway, allowing residents to use digital services, banking applications, and online platforms while commuting to the regional center.
Ekaterina Pyatkova, director of MTS in the Kaluga region, noted that the village was prioritized for network expansion due to its growth and the development of local infrastructure, including the construction of a new school.
