MTS has deployed a base station in the historic Cossack village of Eterevskaya in the Volgograd region. This marks the first time the settlement has received mobile network coverage, providing residents with access to high-speed internet and digital services.
The infrastructure utilizes domestic Irteya telecommunications equipment. The base station is located on Krasnaya Street, which serves as the central hub of the village. This project is part of a broader initiative by MTS to expand network coverage across the region.
Eterevskaya is the second location in the Volgograd region to feature an Irteya base station. The first unit was installed in the village of Gorny Balykley in the Dubovsky district in July 2026.
