MTS has upgraded its mobile network infrastructure in the Novosibirsk region to improve connectivity in suburban areas. The company focused on expanding coverage and increasing network capacity across six districts of the region.

Technical teams deployed equipment operating in the 900 MHz frequency band. This spectrum was selected for its ability to provide a balance between signal propagation range and the capacity to handle a high density of simultaneous connections.

The network improvements cover the Kolyvansky, Novosibirsky, Kochenevsky, Iskitimsky, Ordynsky, and Cherepanovsky districts. According to MTS regional director Alexey Pakhomov, the configuration ensures stable signal reach in forested areas and along local roads.
