MTS has upgraded its LTE infrastructure in Ulyanovsk by installing additional equipment on Promyshlennaya Street. This route connects major industrial zones with residential areas, resulting in a 30% increase in mobile internet speeds for commuters and local residents.

The network expansion covers various industrial facilities, including manufacturers of casting equipment and auto parts, as well as construction and design firms. The upgrade allows users to access mobile internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps, effectively reducing congestion on the existing 4G network.

MTS also expanded its LTE capacity across the Zheleznodorozhny, Zavolzhsky, and Leninsky districts. The most significant work was carried out in the Zasviyazhsky district, which is home to over 220,000 people, representing 35% of the city's total population.

New equipment was deployed across several key locations, including Aviastroiteley, 50-letiya VLKSM, and Sozidateley avenues, as well as Ryleeva, Karbysheva, Samarskaya, and Pushkareva streets. The coverage now includes schools, medical centers, and shopping malls.

Artem Ladyanov, Director of MTS in the Ulyanovsk region, stated that the company is currently executing a large-scale network reinforcement project. This initiative also supports the VoLTE technology, which provides faster call connection times and improved audio quality for users.
