MTS has upgraded its LTE network infrastructure along the Seldinskoye highway in Ulyanovsk, covering a road segment of over three kilometers. The project involved the installation of new telecommunications equipment to enhance connectivity for visitors at local recreation centers, including Berezovaya Roshcha, Razdolye, and the Les thermal complex.
The network improvements have resulted in a 20% increase in mobile internet speeds for motorists and tourists. Additionally, the upgrade enables the use of VoLTE technology, allowing users to maintain internet sessions while making voice calls. The enhanced coverage also extends to the nearby Oasis gardening community.
Residents and visitors in the gardening areas can now access mobile internet speeds reaching up to 100 Mbps. According to Artem Ladyanov, Director of MTS in the Ulyanovsk region, these efforts are part of a broader network expansion strategy, which recently included infrastructure improvements in the village of Lebyazhye.
